The fine print

Clear terms. Quiet rooms.

A club built on discretion should be plain about how it works. These three documents govern the site, the membership, and the rooms.

Draft for counsel review. Placeholders are marked in gold.

Privacy Policy · Last updated 10 July 2026
01

Who we are

CXOAxis is a private, invitation-only peer network operating under the Global AI Forum umbrella. In this policy, "we" means CXOAxis and "you" means anyone who visits this site or submits information to us.

Discretion is the promise of the club, and this policy is written to keep that promise in plain language.

02

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you type: your name, email, phone, company, role, city, who referred you, and anything you write in free-text fields such as "Why this room?" Nomination forms also collect the details you provide about the person you nominate.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Embedded media on the Axis is served by YouTube, which may set its own cookies under its own policies.

03

How we use it

We use what you give us for exactly what you gave it for: to review requests for invitation, to consider nominations, to evaluate partnership inquiries, to convene the rooms, and to send the communications you ask for. We may also use it to keep the club safe, to meet legal obligations, and to improve the site.

04

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not run advertising built on member data, and no partner ever receives the member list. Inside the rooms, Chatham House applies to people as well as words: we do not confirm who is or is not a member to anyone outside the club. The only two ways a partner learns your name are set out in the next clause, and both keep the decision with you.

05

Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us run the club, such as hosting, email, and form processors, each bound to use it solely on our instructions; with professional advisers under confidentiality; and where the law genuinely requires it.

Event partners. Some rooms and experiences are hosted or underwritten by a partner. When you register for one, we share what is needed to run it well: typically your name, role, and company, along with any details you provide for that event, such as dietary or travel preferences. We tell you who the partner is before you confirm your seat, and registering for that event is your consent to that sharing.

Introductions. Where we judge a genuine fit, we may offer to introduce you to a partner. To arrange it we share only your name, role, and company. Taking the meeting is entirely at your discretion, declining carries no consequence, and you may opt out of partner introductions altogether by writing to [privacy contact email].

06

Retention

We keep requests, nominations, and inquiries for as long as needed to consider them and for a reasonable period after, then delete or anonymise them. Member records are kept for the life of the membership and a limited period beyond, as required for legal and operational purposes.

07

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Write to [privacy contact email] and we will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you.

If you were nominated by someone and would rather not be, one note to the same address removes you, no questions asked.

08

Where your data lives

The club operates across multiple capitals of business, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including [primary hosting locations]. Where laws such as the GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or the CCPA apply to you, we honour the rights they grant. [Counsel to confirm transfer mechanisms per jurisdiction before launch].

09

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a club whose product is discretion. No system is perfect; if a breach ever materially affects you, we will tell you promptly and plainly.

10

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date. Questions go to [privacy contact email].

Terms of Use · Last updated 10 July 2026
01

The agreement

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by CXOAxis. By using the site, you accept them. Membership of the club itself is governed additionally by the Rights of Admission, which sit alongside these terms.

02

Membership, in brief

Membership is free, conferred by invitation, personal to you, and non-transferable. It is not a consumer product, a financial service, or an employment relationship. It may be declined, paused, or withdrawn as set out in the Rights of Admission.

03

The Axis and our content

Everything we publish, including the Axis, the Signal, the site's text, design, marks, and the CXOAxis name and emblem, belongs to us or our licensors. You may read it, share links to open pieces, and quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish, scrape, train models on, or commercially exploit it without written permission. Member-only content is for members only; sharing it outside the card is a breach of these terms and of the room.

04

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security, no scraping member information, no submitting false information in requests or nominations, and no using our forms to sell to us or to members.

05

Not professional advice

Content on this site and in the Axis reflects peer experience and editorial judgment. It is not legal, financial, medical, or investment advice, and no member or contributor is acting as your adviser. Decisions you make remain yours.

06

Third parties

The site embeds media from YouTube and links to external sites. Those services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

07

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. [Counsel to tailor limitation language per governing jurisdiction].

08

Changes

We may update the site and these terms. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated terms.

09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], and disputes belong to the courts of [venue], subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.

10

Contact

Questions about these terms go to [legal contact email].

Rights of Admission · Last updated 10 July 2026
01

Admission is by invitation

There is no application fee and no membership fee. A seat cannot be bought, only conferred, and it is personal to the person invited. Requesting an invitation is welcome; receiving one is a decision we make carefully and communicate personally.

02

The standard

We invite for one standard: are you a genuine peer to the members already at the table? Titles open the conversation; the real weight of the seat decides it. Every request is reviewed personally. We may decline without giving reasons, and we ask for the same grace we extend: discretion runs both ways.

03

Conduct in the rooms

Chatham House applies in every room, always: what is said may inform you, but who said it never leaves. No one sells in the rooms. No pitching, soliciting, recruiting, or fundraising at a Table, a Forum, or in any club channel. Members speak as themselves, not their titles, and treat every other member's presence and words as confidential.

04

Guests

Guests attend only by prior arrangement with the club. A member who brings a guest vouches for them, and the guest is bound by the same rules as the room.

05

The card

The membership card and number identify you to the club and its partners. They remain the property of CXOAxis, create no obligation on you to attend or purchase anything, and may not be lent or transferred.

06

Pause and withdrawal

Membership may be paused at your request, for instance during a conflict of interest, and resumed by agreement. It may be withdrawn by the club for breach of these rules, for conduct that harms the room, or where continued membership is no longer a fit. Withdrawal is handled quietly, communicated personally, and is final.

07

Rights of admission reserved

Admission to any room, in any city, is at the club's discretion at all times. This is what keeps the table worth sitting at, for everyone at it.

08

Amendments

These rules may be refined as the club grows. The standard itself does not move.
